Hi everyone,
The meeting was spectacular, I learned a lot about shellscripts. The
slideshow, which is a spectacular reference source, is at
https://egoslike.us/semibug/shellscriptingtips.html .
In the meeting after the meeting, we discussed compiler theory. Ron BC
showcased his CSS/Javascript tool at
http://bclug.ca:8008/tools/fancy-hover/ . I hope Ron BC will give a
presentation on Javascript in our February GoLUG meeting. We also
discussed BSD, given that SEMI-Bug is a BSD group. Jonathan Drews
mentioned that SEMI-Bug's biggest challenge for meetings is finding
presenters, so if any of you have presentations that would be welcome
at a BSD meeting that is interested in Free Software, please contact
Jonathan.
People from all over North America were there, including several
GoLUGgers.
A good time was had by all!
