One of the things I like about Debian is that they package several of 
the popular GNOME extensions, so I can install a version that "just 
works" without messing with the GNOME browser extension, or trial and 
error to figure out which version works.

I have an unpopular opinion: I grew to like GNOME.  There's nothing 
quite like it.  It is keyboard oriented, even though it doesn't appear 
so initially.  The design is nice, but the backend is horror.
