Yes, that is an issue with Wayland.  KeePassXC (at least last time I 
tried) runs under XWayland, so the copy/paste/keyboard events are 
sandboxed to the application.

KeePassXC is a QT application, so maybe there is a way to force it to 
run natively under Wayland.
