[GoLUG] Linux from Scratch -- try #1

All,

I started an attempt to build a Linux From Scratch (LFS) using the BOOK version 12 and it bombed
out while doing the build of gcc compiler (as a cross-compiler) from sources.

Once I piece together some better hardware to try again in the next couple of weeks.

This attempt was tried inside a virtual machine.
