The short answer is ... yes.

I have made several not entirely useful packages for Void Linux (XBPS), Devuan (*.deb),
and FreeBSD (.pkg) that install and remove mostly correct.

If you pay close attention you will have a greater appreciation of what takes to have a useful repository
of your favorite operating system.
