[GoLUG] How to: re-tame a rowdy terminal session

All,

Notes from 'stty' man page:

       * rows N
              tell the kernel that the terminal has N rows

 -=-=-=-

While trying to give a demo of a Oracle Virtual-Box session in a Jitsi online meeting, the command-line terminal kept displaying output past
viewable window. Because of this the bash prompt was no longer visible without a painful attempt to pan down to bring back within the
viewable window.

If I had tried overriding the default setting with:

$ stty rows 35
$ stty ---save

The '35' is just an experimental number and might have to be tweaked per session and screen size.

regards,

David
