I would argue that Ada would be best but I guess I'm biased. Ada certainly has better concurrency support. It could still do with more users despite the recent uptick though. I'm surprised that you prefer, Rust if you do. I can understand Go being less of a learning curve.

Incidentally the comp.lang.ada newsgroup works well without email (spam has all? gone since google groups stopped melding email and news) and there are a couple of existing android clients like PhoNews. There is more activity on the web forum though. Recently they had to restore account moderation due to a spammer on the web forum though. They had removed it due to some concern about UK child protection laws, apparently.
