Who brought it on themselves, by depending on the latest features of
the latest versions of the zillions of latest libraries, to the point
where getting their wondrous creations are so difficult for distro
maintainers to manage that their wondrous creations are being abandoned
right and left. Did they solve it by reducing the gratuitous
dependencies? You bet not. They "solved" it by creating these distro
worshipping, what, sandboxes? Oh. And now for Snap, systemd is a
dependency. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
