The Internet bubble burst in 2001, and most programmers were unemployed
back then. But the Internet slowly came back, and it now dwarfs what it
was in 1999-2000. The same will happen with AI. Yes, sooner or later
the enthusiasm will wane, but it will slowly get more important.
