At the bottom of this page:

http://golug.org/mailman/listinfo/golug_golug.org

is an email input field with a button "Unsubscribe or edit options".

Filling in an email address and clicking that button takes one to a page
with "Password reminder" section and a button "Remind".

This ought to get you your current password.

Whether you're a list moderator / owner, I can't say...

Once in, the page (switch to relevant domain) at:

https://lists.bclug.ca/mailman/admin/discuss/privacy/sender

(found via Configuration Categories > Privacy options > [Sender filters])

See generic_nonmember_action setting with label:

 > Action to take for postings from non-members for which no explicit
 > action is defined.

Choices are Accept / Hold / Reject / Discard

Next item is:

 > Should messages from non-members, which are automatically discarded,
 > be forwarded to the list moderator?

Finally:

 > Text to include in any rejection notice to be sent to non-members who
 > post to this list. This notice can include the list's owner address by
 > %(listowner)s and replaces the internally crafted default message.

The above settings ought to get you there.
