[GoLUG] Hideous HTML

Hi all,

I'm starting to add material to my Guile web page last worked on in
2009:

Pidgin HTML, absolutely unreadable. 391 errors according to the w3c
validator. No CSS. Lists use <br> (not <br/>, but <br>) to achieve
spacing. <pre> uses <br> for line breaks (say whaaat?). A complete and
utter mess.

I'm having to go through that whole file and make it valid HTML.

There's a simple explanation for this abysmal quality: Back in 2009 I
was still using those insane WYSIWYG HTML authoring tools.
