And I didn't cite that, so its really not relevant to my comment.
The fallacy I cited is not dependent on the validity your point.
One logical fallacy does not override another.  That is not how logic
works.

People who dislike systemd have written alternatives, and there are some
great distributions that don't use systemd like Void and Guix.
If such things didn't exist I would be concerned.

As long as we can write and distribute free software that meets people's
needs I am fine.  I do get concerned when corporations and interest
groups help pass legislation that interferes with that ability.
